Jared Tristan Padalecki was born on the 19th of July 1982 in San Antonio, Texas. He has an older brother named Jeff, and a younger sister named Megan.
Jared began taking acting lessons at the age of twelve, and in 1999 won the ‘claim to fame’ contest which led to an appearance at the Teen Choice Awards. He attended the James Madision High School and after graduating in 2000 moved to L.A. to pursue a career in acting.
Jared’s favorite book is ‘The Great Gatsby’, his favorite food is cheeseburger with mustard lettuce and tomato, and his favorite movie is ‘Good Will Hunting.’ He has two dogs.
Some of Jared’s early roles include ‘A Little Inside,’ and a long running part in ‘Gilmore Girls.’
